First Week Blur!

During the middle of my first teacher inservice day, all of my supplies arrived from my old classroom to my new one.  I am not going to lie, it was a tad overwhelming, especially knowing that parents and students were going to be walking through our doors in less than a week.

Little by little, and with some help from my wonderful family, I started to make sense of the piles stacked before me.

By the time parents walked through, I had my room looking like this, much better, huh?

The room is starting to feel a little more like home.  We are still missing our art room tables and to make a very long story short, we will just say they were lost for quite awhile in transit.

Thankfully, my students are wonderful and think of working on the floor as an art adventure.

It has been a crazy start to the year, but I know little by little more pieces will come together.  I am keeping my fingers crosses that the next post I write will be me smiling at one of my new art room tables! :)
