Henri Matisse Inspire Underwater Paper Cut-Outs
Third grade artists did a fantastic job creating these fun construction paper masterpieces inspired by the cut-outs of Henri Matisse. Concepts taught: positive space, negative space, overlapping, organic shapes, cut-outs. This lesson could definitely be taught to upper elementary and middle school students as well.
